Why We Made Our Own Jacket
We have sold winter jackets for over 20 years. We know what sells, what comes back, and what people actually reach for when the temperature drops to minus twenty. After fitting thousands of customers through Canadian winters, we had a clear picture of what the perfect Montreal puffer should be. So we built it.
We partnered with Quartz, a Canadian outerwear manufacturer with decades of experience producing technical winter gear. The result is the Super Puffer: a jacket designed from the ground up for the way people in this city actually live, move, and dress between November and April.
The Details That Matter
Every decision behind this jacket came from years of watching what works on the streets of Montreal.
Canadian duck down fill. Sourced domestically, chosen for its warmth-to-weight ratio. This jacket keeps you warm at minus thirty without the bulk that makes you feel like you are wearing furniture. You can layer a hoodie underneath and still move your arms.
Water-resistant shell. Montreal winter means snow, sleet, freezing rain, and slush splashing off passing buses. The outer shell repels moisture so you stay dry through the commute, the walk, and the wait for the 80 bus on Parc.
Unisex fit. We designed one jacket that works across body types. The cut runs slightly oversized for easy layering but stays structured enough to look intentional. No shapeless sleeping bag silhouette.
Four colours. Because not everyone wants black. We made the black for the purists, the grey for those who want something softer, the red for the ones who refuse to disappear into a grey February streetscape, and the multicolour for anyone who wants their jacket to do the talking.
Why Quartz
We could have put our name on any jacket. We chose Quartz because they build outerwear the way we think it should be built. Their factory produces for some of the most demanding cold-weather applications in the country. They understand Canadian down, Canadian winters, and the difference between a jacket that looks warm and one that actually is.
This collaboration was not about branding a generic product. We sat with their team, chose materials together, tested fits on real people in the store, and went through multiple rounds before landing on something we would stake our name on.

You will not find this jacket at any other retailer. It was made for our customers, sold in our store, and designed for our city. That exclusivity is the point. We wanted to offer something that could not be compared or undercut because nothing else like it exists.
