Who are you?
My name’s Cristina Monti and I’m a dreamer, but as of this exact moment you might know me for my fashion blog The Boho Flow.
Where are you from?
I’m from Montreal, Canada.
What’s on your playlist?
A bit of everything. Mainly deep house and hip hop. I’m really into Flume, Kygo, Rihanna, Beyonce, Drake, XY constant, Greyson Chance, just to name a few.
What brands are on your Radar?
Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Chloe and obviously Chanel. I’m a large brand lover, there are very few brands I don’t love. As long as the quality and brand name is well established and the design is structured with a twist, I usually love anything with that sort of description.
How did you start “the boho flow"?
The idea of the Boho Flow came to me about six years ago. It all started when I began following The Blonde Salad, who is now considered the biggest fashion blogger in the world. The idea came to me six years ago, yet I only launched my blog 3 years after the idea of starting a fashion blog. I really wanted to have a blog name that’s exceptionally representative of my style and personally. I also started the fashion blog to promote my signing. Yes, I sing, I don’t do it as much anymore but I’m definitely working on changing that.
What inspires you to continue taking the boho flow to the next level?
I love what I do and I enjoy inspiring others through my work.
Dream Date?
Definitely something highly romantic, candle lit dinner by the ocean or someplace cool. I’m a little cheesy romantic sometimes but I’m also really easy going. I would say I’m pretty easy to please so something as simple as just taking me out anywhere would make me just as happy as chilling in my living room watching a movie.
Celebrity Crush?
Definitely Chris Hemsworth, he’s a god.
Current Obsession?
This game on the Apple Store called Bakery Blitz, it has completely stopped my life.
Outside of fashion do you want to follow any other dreams?
Yaaa I want to sing and design.
Spirit Animal?
Dolphin, they’re the smartest creatures in the ocean and they’re so cute.
Who’s your style inspiration?
It’s honestly really hard to say, I’m currently not inspired by anyone in particular. I guess Kate Bosworth, Poppy Delevingne, Olivia Palermo are pretty inspirational. For some reason I would say fashion bloggers are way more inspiring to me at the moment rather than any celebrity. Girls like Peace Love Shea, Happily Grey, Patricia Manfield, Chronicles Of Her, We Wore What, Sonya Esman, Sincerely Jules, The Blonde Salad all very chic inspiring young woman, that definitely have helped me mold into my style with ease.
What should we be anticipating from - in 2016 & Beyond?
I'll be launching my youtube channel this year, which is so exciting, this will help my readers and followers get to know me on a more personal level. I also plan on launching a few capsule collections, as well as working on some signing stuff. This year is without a doubt the best yet.
